Marvin - Girl On The Television

This is a music video that I directed, shot and edited for my friend Marvin. Dicky Salim was also in this production as the Assistant Director.

As for the concept, Marvin would like himself to be in black and white, and only the girl on the television is in colour. Marvin and the girl never met, and he is never in the same frame except when he's in frame with the television.

The girl on the television is portrayed by Jessica Wongsodiharjo.

Gudeg Mbah Lindu - Documentary

This is a trailer for our documentary film, Gudeg Mbah Lindu

"Mbah Lindu" who is still making and serving Gudeg Yogya at the age of 97. 

She is not only known for her delicious Gudeg, but also for her dedication to her family and to her customers. On top of that, Her passion to preserve Yogya's traditional culinary is second to none.

We are glad that this short documentation is awarded as The most favorite short film and has received an Honorable Mention from Amartha at Amartha's short film festival.

This achievement has let us moving few steps closer to achieve a dream in spreading out Mbah Lindu's inspiring life spirit throughout the nation.

David Josade Project - Sosmed In Love

This song is composed by my friend David, where he produced and composed this song in relation with our daily experiences in using social media and instant messaging applications to interact with someone we have interest in.

This is an everyday problem in our generation, when we check our phones, our social media, hoping to see a post or a reply from that specific person but we didn't see any.

In pre-production, we came to a decision which specific social media will show up on screen, so I did leave some empty space on some shots while in production.

I came up with a different style of cinematography, where I usually shoot with camera movement, this time a lot of still shots were used for the storyline part.

Medis Band ft. Anzela - Cintaku Itu Kamu

A story about a girl who fell in love with a boy she mesmerized, but she's unable to confess. Then she decided to write about it in a song.

Medis Band is a team of doctors who is also active in the music industry. Each band member is currently working professionally as doctors and musicians.

In this new single, Medis Band collaborated with Anzela, a young talented musician and YouTuber.

Nice Frame Jakarta is a custom made framing service located in South Jakarta. Mr Raymond, the CEO of Nice Frame Jakarta has established his service since 1985.

Nice Frame has grown to become one of the most respected customised framing services in Jakarta. They have had the opportunity to work with the most prominent painters, photographers, artists, government offices, five-star hotels, and various other institutions, while staying true to their passion in customised framing.

Birthday Gift

This is a short film that I recently produced, shot and edited.

From the first day of shooting, I did set a release date which is 8'th of January, as the calendar shows a date marked on it.

Anyway this is a mise-en-scene film, with no dialog and voice over, so it needs a lot of other supporting factors such as music, acting and sound effects.

Luckily we have our actor Jevier Justin, a tv show host who can act very beautifully, our scriptwriter Yournes Sari who did her best writing the script with her unique ideas, and our music composer Rio Okta Gunawan as he composed a very nice piece of music just for this short film.

This film was produced together with the director Didiet Tham, and Don Tjong from Atham Tailor. Just one day before the 2nd day of shoot, Don's father passed away. And so this film is also dedicated to Don's father, Atham Gozali, the founder of Atham Tailor.

Also, the picture of father in the film is my long lost Grandfather, thanks Grandpa for participating in my film!

Recently I got a chance to work with Irvyn Wongso, to create a music video for the song he composed.

Due to our busy schedule, we weren't able to have a meet up before the shoot to discuss and talk about the concept.

Synopsis:
The love story of a girl and a boy is going well until the boy decides to destroy their relationship with unknown reasons. Until one day, the girl finds out why he decided to break their relationship.

This music video was made to celebrate the 71st Independence Day of Indonesia.

Combining 5 folk & patriotic songs to remind the youths that traditional songs are not meant to be forgotten.

Out of 3 production days, I was only able to attend 2.5 days.

Overall we all had fun shooting this video.
